All you need to know about the #LuxemburgerliChallenge

Summer is one of the best times to enjoy our light and airy Luxemburgerli in your garden, by the lake or at a get-together with friends. Join the celebrations, alone or with friends, by taking part in the #LuxemburgerliChallenge and unleash your creativity. Show off your colourful Luxemburgerli against the backdrop of summer. Whether you submit a photo or a video of your creation, a post in your Instagram Feed or an Instagram Story, is up to you. But don’t forget to use the hashtag #LuxemburgerliChallenge, tag our official Sprüngli Instagram account @confiseriespruengli, and make sure your profile is set to «public» (profile settings). The five most original «Luxemburgerli summer’ creations» will win an exclusive one-year subscription of our iconic Luxemburgerli and a brunch voucher for two at our Sprüngli restaurant on Paradeplatz in Zurich. Our panel of experts will pick the five lucky winners. We will then let you know who’s won and start sending out those prizes. You can find the detailed conditions of participation here.

David Geisser

David Geisser

David Geisser is a renowned Swiss chef, author of nine cookbooks and entrepreneur with his own cookery studio. He trained at the Gault Millau-graded restaurant «il Casale». For two years after that, he served in the Swiss Pontifical Guard in Rome. In the years that followed, he published several cookbooks, opened his cookery studio and starred in his own TV cooking show called «Choche und Gnüsse» on the channel TVO. And in 2022, he won the Swiss Influencer Award in the food category. We are delighted to welcome David Geisser to our panel of experts and can’t wait to see his own «Luxemburgerli summer» creation. 

Yael Anders

Yael Anders

Yael Anders is a young Swiss designer with her own atelier in Zurich. She studied at the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste and ENSAAMA in Paris and has been a freelance designer since 2015. When inspiration strikes Yael, she captures her ideas in the form of sketches. She primarily focuses on illustration. Yael’s work involves photography, layouts, textiles and ceramic and jewellery collections. We are pleased to have Yael with us as a judge and are looking forward to seeing her take on «Luxemburgerli summer». 

Christophe Loeffel

Christophe Loeffel

Christophe Loeffe is a prominent pastry chef. He honed his skills under acclaimed top pastry chef Pierre Hermé and subsequently took up his first position as a pastry chef at the Michelin-starred restaurant «O’Flaveurs» in Douvaine when he was only 19 years old. Christophe was named «Pastry Chef of the Year 2021» by Gault&Millau Switzerland and won the bronze medal at the French Dessert Championship. Since the opening of «Maison Décotterd», he has been head pâtissier in Montreux. We are thrilled that Christophe is joining us as a Luxemburgerli Challenge judge for a third time.
